The Hospital Broadcast Network (HBN) has developed an “Everybody Wins” commercial advertising network. Advertisers now have multi‐dimensional advertising access to hospitals – doctors, nurses, patients, visitors and staff. HBN provides hospitals with a no cost, in‐house radio, digital signage and billboard music and art system that is fully supported and funded by commercial sponsorships.

Select advertisers can target their communication to select groups within the hospital as HBN’s system is pervasive throughout the public spaces of the hospital. This includes all elevator banks, lobby, doctor lounges, waiting rooms, cafeterias and selected high traffic hallways.

The prescription is written clearly

• Radio - We provide 8‐12 minutes of advertising per hour – no back to back audio spots
  
  
• Billboard - The speakers used to produce the radio are actually talking billboards mounted at eye level throughout the hospital. There are 70 billboards are installed but only about 25 will have advertising. The rest will have printed art.
  
  
• Digital - Selected areas have digital monitors with about 3‐5 minutes of advertising per 15 minutes.
